Q: What’s the solution for cutting a lens too small?

A: Should anyone ever cut a lens too small in the metal frame (not too that ever happens with today's patternless edgers 😉 ), it is possible to sometimes "resize" the frame by grinding down the tip on the eyewear with the joint. This works especially well if your frame includes a front that hides the joint or when the joint is particularly thick to begin with.
Basically, the tricky part is maintaining the "V" towards the end in the eyewear. I've used this little trick once or twice just to save a high priced lens. It has the edge, naturally, nevertheless it works…
